우리에게 필요한 것은

지치지 않고 사랑하는 것뿐입니다. 

어떻게 등잔이 탑니까? 
그것은 끊임없이 심지를 태우는 몇 방울의 기름 때문입니다. 
우리 삶 속의 등잔에서 이 기름방울은 무엇일까요? 
그것은 일상 속의 작은 것들 
곧 성실함, 친절한 말 한마디, 타인을 배려하는 마음, 
침묵을 지키고 바라보고 말하고 행동하는 것들입니다. 

당신을 떠난 먼 곳에서 예수님을 찾으려 하지 마십시오. 
그분은 당신 밖에 계시지 않고 당신 안에 계십니다. 
그러므로 당신의 등잔을 계속 타오르게 하십시오. 
그러면 당신은 그분을 깨닫게 될 것입니다. 

 

What we need is to love without getting tired.

How does a lamp burn? 
Through the continuous input of small drops of oil. 
What are these drops of oil in our lamps? 
They are the small things of daily life 
：faithfulness, small words of kindness, a thought for others, 
our way of being silent, of looking, of speaking, and of acting. 

 

Do not look for Jesus away from yourselves.

He is not out there；He is in you. 
Keep your lamp burning, and you will recognize Him.
