사제자독(Zadok the Priest)은 영국왕실 부속예배당의 작곡가 였던 헨델이 1727년 조지 2세가 웨스터민스터 대성당에서 대관 식을 가졌을 때 그 의식을 위해 작곡한 대관식 찬가의 첫번째 곡이다. 대관식 찬가는 사제 자독(Zadok the Priest)의 전주에 이어 웅장한 합창으로 시작되는 대관식 찬송으로 모두 4개의 송가(Ant hem)로 구성되어 있으며, 열왕기상 1장 39절, 자도크가 솔로몬 왕에게 기름을 붓고 백성이 환호하는 내용의 가사로 3개 부분 으로 구분돼 작곡되었다.
